2021 Staff Promotions
Pete Bacevice is promoted to Associate Principal. Pete’s passion for data-driven research has helped to elevate our strategy practice – Ark – and therefore HLW’s profile. Pete is an integral part of the Ark leadership, bringing an impressive dedication and commitment to his team and the organization. As the Director of Research, Pete brings a unique perspective and robust expertise, having been published often, most notably several times with the Harvard Business Review. We look forward to Pete, working with Alex Dunham, to propel Ark’s growth to become a formidable competitor in their space as an independent consultant.
Joanne Casselle is promoted to Associate Principal. Since joining HLW in 2015, Jo’s unwavering commitment to her clients, to her teams, and to the firm have seen her grow from strength to strength. In recent years, Jo has led multiple large-scale international projects – including Wix.com’s new campus in Israel, Fidelity UK’s large campus refurbishment, and multiple projects for Amazon in Israel, Germany, and France. Not only does she deliver some of HLW’s largest and most challenging projects, she excels in ensuring that her clients are looked after and want to continue with working with us. Jo also does not shy away from new business development and marketing efforts, never too busy to work on some of London’s biggest opportunities. We look forward to Jo joining the leadership team and continuing to elevate and grow her career at HLW.
Alex Dunham is promoted to Associate Principal. While Alex has been with us for just 2 years, he has evolved to meet different leadership roles and never lost a beat. Beginning at HLW by leading the workplace team in NY, Alex quickly proved his ability as a big thinker who brings a diverse business perspective to the team. He has been responsible for many new project wins and most recently, has been elevated to the Managing Director of Ark. We are excited about the collaboration between Alex and Pete in driving growth and innovation for Ark.
Ed Stand is promoted to Associate Principal. In his tenure with the firm, which spans 8 years, Ed has been an integral part of the team in the senior leadership role of Project Manager on countless base building projects. Ed has helped develop some of the firm’s most significant client relationships across sectors, while attending to the clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations in developing successful buildings. Some of the clients he has managed over the years with new and repeat business are the LeFrak Organization, Hofstra University, Fordham University, and the Korean Community Service. In the last 2 years, Ed has also taken on and developed the Quality Management Initiative program for HLW, while working closely with key individuals in the other offices. Ed is very passionate about architecture and always looks for ways to deliver a quality product and ensuring limiting liability for the firm. HLW values Ed for his experience, his leadership, and his diligence.
