HLW Cycles for Survival

The HLW New Jersey team participated in the recent Cycle for Survival event in Summit, New Jersey. During the months leading up to the event, the New Jersey team worked hard to raise funds for this important initiative. Thanks to generous donations from our partners, we exceeded our goal this year and raised over $23,000!

Cycle for Survival is the movement to beat rare cancers comprised of high-energy indoor team cycling events that provide a tangible way to fight back. 100% of all money raised directly funds lifesaving rare cancer research lead by Memorial Sloan Kettering. About 50% of people with cancer have a rare cancer – these cancers include Lymphoma, thyroid, ovarian, brain, pancreatic, all pediatric cancers, and others.

Cycle for Survival has raised $204 million for rare cancer research since 2007, and have funded 100+ clinical trials and research studies. A huge thank you to Memorial Sloan Kettering, Equinox, Cycle for Survival, and all participants everywhere for making this amazing series of events possible.
