HLW Welcomes Director of BIM and Computational Design

HLW has welcomed Xiaoxuan Peng, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, as the Director of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computational Design to enhance its cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking perspectives in architecture and design. His multidisciplinary expertise in technology and architecture will enable HLW and its clients to leverage new innovations to address local and global issues facing the industry in the decades to come. At a time when we are reimagining the built environment, Peng’s expertise advances the firm’s ability to ask and answer critical questions, drive data-informed decisions, and develop sustainable and accessible solutions.

Peng’s expertise with BIM and other cutting-edge software will comprehensively elevate HLW’s and its clients’ ability to understand and utilize the latest design, construction, building maintenance practices. Beyond saving money and time, BIM helps clients develop and operate developments more sustainability, and opens doors to implementing technologies that enhance user experience, including IoT products. Both a registered Architect and a certified developer, Peng has worked on global portfolios for a range of architecture firms, including a four-year tenure at AECOM.
