Global Atlantic Financial Group (GAFG) is a fast-growing insurance, re-insurance, and investment company that was spun off from Goldman Sachs in 2013. As GAFG continues to grow through acquisition, we have worked with them to develop a comprehensive set of workplace guidelines that reflects the company’s culture and brand while simplifying the process of integrating new people and new space into the GAFG organization. The challenge was to identify key priorities that would be consistent across locations and establish a standardized design approach for site renovations with radically different baselines.
Through engagements with end users and leadership, data analysis, and benchmarking, HLW developed a streamlined approach to design delivery for Global Atlantic Financial Group. We are now working with them on a series of design projects around the United States that apply these new guidelines while simultaneously informing updates to them based on learnings from their implementation.
