Google Shanghai
Continuing our relationship with this technology client, HLW completed their new Shanghai Office– 60,000 SF in the Shanghai World Financial Centre.
The design concepts are inspired by both Shanghai and Chinese culture fused with the client’s Brand and flexible planning approach that is consistent throughout all client offices. The design of the reception area takes its cues from the Chinese Park with a water fountain, hanging bird cages and calligraphy applied to the outdoor pavers as seen in many local parks.
To accommodate their expanding requirements HLW completed another floor of 27,976 SF in 2017 comprising additional work and meeting spaces. A new noodle bar/cafe expands upon the original cafe and kitchen which accommodated 75 seats, 300 square meters.
The design continues to reflect the locale and looks to both the Art Deco and contemporary Shanghai for inspiration.
