Technology Client
This multinational IT services corporation wanted a first-of-its-kind experience and showcase space that was client-facing and suited the needs of their NYC workforce. The new headquarters, located within Hudson Yards, serves as a sophisticated space for clients and executives. The concept is inspired by the organization’s European outposts and adopts an open office theme with circulation around the building’s core. This allows for 360 degree views of Hudson Yards. The new space includes a multi-function cafe and entertainment zone for client meetings on the reception floor, and flexible work and meeting spaces on the upper level.
The space serves as a client center and workspace for the organizations and emphasizes connection to their New York City neighborhood. To reinforce this connection HLW collaborated with a landscape consultant to outfit the unique outdoor terrace with native flora and assisted the client with locally sourced art. Organic patterned metal ceilings and wood walls help reinforce a naturalist aesthetic.
