Workshop Creative

Workshop Creative is a highly innovative entertainment marketing firm that sought a space to inspire their employees and serve as a “workshop”. HLW designed their new space across two floors, connected by a feature stair that unites upstairs and down. The base of the stair serves as a podium for all-hands meetings at Workshop Creative. A nearby island with barstools accommodates smaller team meetings. The dining space expands in two directions – to the exterior patio via a large pair of double doors as well as to the luxe conference room via sliding glass partitions – to give the workshop extreme flexibility to accommodate various sized functions, as well as the ability to choose between flow and privacy. In addition to producer and production offices, the program includes many editing bays and a graphics bullpen. The desired aesthetic was imaginative and fun. The bubble chairs and guitars were from the client’s own collection and furniture was selected piece by piece to add personality to each area.
