HLW worked with Booking.com on this large scale phased refurbishment, which was an exciting opportunity to work with this technology/travel firm who are constantly striving to push the boundaries of their workspaces and this next step lead the way for their other global offices.
The company expanded and have acquired a new building in the Piet Hein district. The Booking.com branding has been incorporated throughout, including in the large atrium display. A vibrant scheme has been developed that uses both the city of Amsterdam and the travel of the Booking.com staff as inspiration, helping the team to connect to their new home and each other. Multiple cafes and social hubs were implemented so that there are lots of places to hold informal meetings, gather the team and encourage a collaborative culture across the 9 floors of the office.
