FKKS
HLW has designed a new workplace for the law firm, Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz (FKKS), who specialize in legal services for the entertainment and arts industries. Taking space in the iconic Century Plaza Towers, the unique floorplate has informed our design strategy and space planning to fully utilize all the specific geometries this building affords. At the heart of the space and entry into FKKS’ office is a welcoming reception lounge area. To fully take advantage of the surrounding views the entry opens up directly to the perimeter and with the adjacent coffee bar and pantry the space can be utilized for casual gatherings or to host client events. Private offices along the perimeter are equally sized and have full glazing to allow daylight to penetrate fully into the interior. A variety of meeting spaces, from more formal meeting rooms and war rooms to smaller huddle rooms, are provided.
The design palette is sophisticated and warm with attention to detailing and which is complemented by unique lighting, artwork and accessories.
HLW worked with the Gardiner & Theobald team to bring this project to successful completion in 2020.
