2 Journal Square
Plans are underway for the repositioning and renovation of 2 Journal Square. With an integrated design team in place, HLW is helping to resolve complex construction challenges and achieve tenant goals while preserving the building’s innate beauty. The renovation encompasses office and data center spaces, building and floor common areas, building infrastructure systems, retail spaces, exterior building entries, parking levels, exterior hard and soft scapes, and building/retail access, as well as signage and wayfinding. The building is 9 stories above grade with 4 levels below, and each of the tenant floors (above grade) is approximately 31,000 SF.
The building is across the street from the Path station and is in a good position to attract new tenants into the Journal Square Hub, the next area prime for redevelopment in Jersey City.
